Born in Cuba, raised in Miami, FL. From a very young age he joined his family's bakery becoming an extraordinary Master Baker himself. Later opening his own bakery in Florida and now his own Cuban Sandwich Cafe in Austin, Texas!

Cuban Sandwich Cafe was created in Sept 2010 and has been family run ever since. We offer great food at an affordable price. You can choose from a variety of sandwiches to our most famous dish Ropa Veija (Shredded beef in a tomato based sauce). Please look through the web site for our contact information and menu options.
The kitchen staff prides itself with preparing and serving the most authentic Cuban dishes ranging from Ropa Vieja and Congri to the traditional Cuban Sandwich. Make sure to leave room for one of our delicious desserts, like Arroz con Leche (rice pudding) or Flan de Queso (cheese custard) just to name a few.

En Mayo de 1967, llagamos de Cuba a New Jersey, mi familia y yo con solo 5 anos de edad, donde mi tio Justo Reyes, conocido como "cuco" y mi padre, Inocente Reyes, emprendieron su primer negocio de panaderia. En 1972, nos movimos a Miami, FL donde nuevament la familia emprende el negocio de panaderia. Por tal motive crecimos en el negocio de donde cuatro de seis hermanos aprendimos el arte culinario, luego llevandome a poner mi primer negocio. Trascurriendo el tiempo y buscando un mejor futuro para mi familia me mude a Texas en el 2009. Aqui empece a trabajar como manager para una cadena de supermercados y con la inquietud de poner mi propio negocio y al ver que no habia nada Cubano, puse mi primera panaderia y cafe Cubana en Austin,TX y junto a mi esposa e hija abrir las puertas de Cuban Sandwich Cafe el 4 de Setiembre, 2010.
